what kind of diets are there and the One i recommend

When they say abs are made in the kitchen, that is no exaggeration. Diet is generally considered to make up to 80-85 percent of the battle to lose weight. The other 15-20 percent is exercise, sleep and abstaining from things you are not supposed to do like smoke, drink and illicit drugs.

Some of the most common types of diets:

  • Intermittent fasting

  • Ketogenic

  • Dash

  • Vegan

  • Gluten free

  • Paleo

  • Mind

The following are some general tips to get your started:

  • Decreasing serving size, not feeling like you have to eat your full plate.

  • 15-30g of protein at every meal,

  • Drinking enough water for your body weight( half your body weight in ounces is a good staring goal for the sedentary person and more if active)

  • Having 30-50 grams of fibre a day.

  • Having simple carbs such as fruit after a workout is beneficial because of increasing your insulin level in order to get your protein synthesis quicker after workout. A banana is a great source of potassium and natural sugars after a workout.

I strongly believe there is no one diet that suits everyone. People are going to do what the latest fad is for diets, Truth be told if you go on a diet you may go back to old habits and worse put on more weight then when you started.. Just be mindful of what you put in your body, move daily and sleep the suggested 7-9hours every night and you should lose 1-2lbs a week safely.
